Roomservice by CORT celebrate the successes in the relocation sector at London awards ceremony

London based furniture rental company, Roomservice by CORT attended the Re:Locate awards, held at the Institute of Directors, in London's Pall Mall, to celebrate and reward the successes in the relocation industry.

Launched in 2007 by Re:locate, the magazine for HR professionals and relocation specialists, this is the only awards scheme in the UK to celebrate achievement in this field.  The seven awards between them recognise individuals, teams, policy and innovation, with a choice of categories for HR and service providers.

Roomservice by CORT stay open during cold spell

With the one of the coldest winters the UK has experienced for over 30 years, many people could not make their daily journey into their offices the first week back after the festive end of year break. Despite icy and snowy conditions, Roomservice by CORT’s dedicated staff managed to make it into work and complete all of the deliveries that had been booked.

With temperatures dipping below zero degrees Celsius last Wednesday 6th January, roads became icy and public transport widely unusable.

Furniture rental provider, Roomservice by CORT have been announced as gold sponsors for the 2010 BPF Residential Dinner and Conference on the 26th and 27th January 2010. The event gathers senior representatives from the BPF's membership, including leading residential property owners and investors, fund managers, investment banks and professional firms - to network as well as discuss and debate topical issues surrounding the property sector.

The event kick starts at the Institute of Directors Building, 116 Pall Mall on the Tuesday evening with the annual residential dinner.  The following day the conference will be held at Allen & Overy's London offices.

When Pauline Quirke accepted the role of MJ in the BBC's new crime drama Missing, she knew she would need a home from home to return to after a long day's filming on location.  The actress couldn't make the long journey to and from the set each day so turned to a rental property in Kent, near the filming studios, which had an agreement that made Roomservice by CORT the recommended furniture rental provider.
