Signing Off...

As Christmas rushes towards us at breakneck speed, thoughts automatically start turning towards the new year ahead and the opportunities it will bring. Most people like to have little watersheds to divide one part of their life from another – a new start, if you will – and these don’t come any more definite than at the start of a new year. The possibilities seem endless.

And such is the case for yours truly. From January, I’ll be taking on a new role with CORT, the parent company of Roomservice, to help drive forward new business opportunities throughout the UK and the rest of the EMEA region. While I am of course excited by this new challenge, it does mean having to leave the day-to-day hustle and bustle of Roomservice by CORT, a company that I have dedicated a significant part of my life to. I shall miss it, but am also confident that the team in place will take it to new heights.

It also means that I my regular thoughts on the institutional private sector will soon be coming to a stop. I will of course be following the industry intently, but sadly my blogging days are soon to be behind me.
