Roomservice by CORT in the spotlight at Re:Locate awards

Launched in 2007 by Re:locate, the magazine for HR professionals and relocation specialists, this is the only awards scheme in the UK to celebrate achievement in this field. The seven awards between them recognise individuals, teams, policy and innovation, with a choice of categories for HR and service providers. Roomservice by CORT sponsored the award for Rising Star in Relocation, which encourages and recognises the emerging talent and exceptional abilities of an individual within any sector of the relocation industry.

At the gala dinner, guests from across the relocation spectrum toasted success, good practice and innovation. Fiona Murchie, Re:locate’s managing editor, said, “Our sponsors are absolutely key to the success of these awards, which are growing year on year, bringing on board more inspirational HR teams, policies and suppliers from new sectors to gain recognition for their outstanding contribution to the world of relocation. We would like to thank them for all their encouragement and support.”

Presenting the winner of this year’s Rising Star in Relocation award, Sharon Hewitt, of Chiltern Relocation, with her trophy, Roomservice by CORT’s Roger Hollis said, “We believe this award is particularly important because, living as we do in a world of accelerated change, we all need to adapt and innovate in order to succeed. The best ideas come from new people – the rising stars. ”

Sharon Hewitt set up an innovative relocation network, partnering with other small companies throughout the country.

The Summer issue of Re:locate, to be published in June, will feature full details of the winners, with case studies.
