Example inventory for a 2 bed property

So you’re moving to the UK? That’s great news! You’ll be living in one of the most historic and culturally diverse countries in the world.

The UK has a myriad of property types from period properties to urban apartments. Smaller period properties can often have quite small rooms, halls and staircases, so choose smaller items which can fit through the door of the property and won't take up too much space in the room.

City apartments usually feature a kitchen/diner. For smaller apartments use reflective surfaces such as glass for dining tables and side tables, it takes up less visual space, making the apartment seem bigger.

If you’ve never lived in the UK, or relocated before, stocking a house full of furniture can be a daunting prospect, so to make things easier for you, we’ve created an inventory guide to give you an example of what you’d need for an average 2 bedroom home.
